Answer: 5

Step-by-step explanation:

Given perimeter, P = 36 cm

Let length is l and breadth is b then perimeter of rectangle is

P=2(l+b) \\\\\Rightarrow 36= 2(l+b)\\\\\Rightarrow 18=(l+b)

So possible odd dimensions of the rectangle can be

1) 1 and 17

2) 3 and  15

3) 5 and 13

4) 7 and 11

5) 9 and 9  (All squares are rectangles)

Hence, there are five possible rectangle with perimeter 36 cm and dimension is odd number.
