Therefore R = 4/3 Ω

Since 1/Rp = 1/R1 + 1/R2 ...

Therefore 3/4 = 1/8 + 1/8 + 1/8 ... (individual resistance = 8Ω)

Therefore 3/4 = n(1/8)  (let no. of resistors be 'n')

Therefore 3/4 x 8 = n

Therefore n = 6
