Explanation:

Together with the rivers Chenab, Ravi, Sutlej, Jhelum, Beas and the extinct Sarasvati River, the Indus forms the Sapta Sindhu ("Seven Rivers") delta in the Sindh province of Pakistan. It has 20 major tributaries.

These five rivers—the Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi, Beas, and Sutlej—give the name Punjab (“Five Rivers”) to the region divided between Pakistan and India.

At present, Pakistan is totally depending on three western rivers of the Indus, that is, Kabul, Jhelum and Chenab, while three eastern tributaries of the Indus – Ravi, Sutlej and Beas – were given to India for its exclusive use after an agreement.
