the radius of the wheel = 35cm

here we have to find the number of rotations of the wheel to cover the distance of 110km.

so first of all, we have to find the circumference of the wheel.

we know that wheels are circular.

therefore circumference of the wheel = 2πr

= 2 × 22/7 × 35

= 44 × 5

= 220cm

in meters = 220/100 = 2.2m

the distance is given in km. let's change in meters.

we know that 1km = 1000 meters

therefore 110km = 110 × 1000 = 110000 meters

hence, no. of rotations of the wheel to cover this distance = 110000/2.2

= 50000

the wheel have to rotate 50000 times to cover 110km.
