Number of sigma bonds = 9

Number of pi bonds = 2

The single bonds (C-H, C-C) are sigma bond .

A double bond has one pi bond and one sigma bond.

A triple bond has two pi bonds and one sigma bond.

CH2=C=CHCH3

There are six C-H single bonds and one C-C single bond (all sigma bonds ).

There are two C=C double bonds present in the compound (they have one sigma and one pi bond ).

Thus , total number of sigma bonds = 6 C-H single bond + 1 C-C single bond + 2 from double bond

= 9

Total number of pi bonds = 2

Answer:9 sigma Bonds And 2 Pir Bonds

Explanation:

As Single Bond has 1 sigma bond

Double Bond has 1 sigma Bond + 1 pie Bond

Triple Bond has 1 sigma Bond + 2 pie Bonds

Then number of sigma and pie Bonds count By the structure of compund

CH2=C=CHCH3

There is 6 ( C-H ) Bonds = 6 sigma Bonds

2 ( C=C ) Bonds = 2 sigma Bonds + 2 pie Bonds

1 ( C-C ) Bonds = 1 sigma Bonds

It Clearly seems that there are 9 sigma Bonds and 2 pie Bonds
