The carbon atom is bonded to four hydrogen atoms through four single bonds; each single bond is also a sigma bond, which means that methane has a total of 4 sigma bonds. Each of carbon's four sp3 hybrid orbitals bonds with a 1s-orbital from a hydrogen to a sigma bond.
Bro how can i send the shape.??

There are 4 sigma bonds (4 C-H sigma bonds) in CH4....
It's shape is tetrahedral as its hybridisation is sp3...
Hope this helps you....

yaminigatta: thanks and please say how many pi bonds
Anonymous: there is no pi bond as there are no double or triple bonds in the molecule..
yaminigatta: thank you
Anonymous: wlcm... ☺️☺️
