How many slabs of cement are required to tile a platform of length 8 m and breadth 6 m, if the length of each slab is 4 cm and breadth 3 cm?

First we find the area of platform

Area of Rectangle =L×B

= 8×6 m^2

48m^2

4800 cm^2

Then we find area of 1 slab

4×3 cm^2

= 12cm^2

divude 4800 by 12

we get 400
