How many sodium ions are present in 3.1g of sodium oxide?

Sodium oxide=sodium+oxygen

Na2O=Na+O2

3.1g=Na +2

3.1-2=Na

therefore,

Na=1.1g

therefore in 3.1grams 1.1 grams of sodium ions are present.
