How many solid cylinders of radius 10 cm and height 6 cm can be made by melting a solid sphere of radius 30 cm

manas0207: Vol of sphere:4/3£r^3=36000£r
Vol of cone:1/3£r^2=200£!
Acc to question;
36000£=n*(200£)
Therefore,
N=180,(no. Of cones)
manas0207: Sry...it should be cylinder

volume of sphere = 4/3 * 22/7 * r^3
= 4/3 *22/7 * (30*30*30)
= 113 142 .857 cm ^3

volume of cylinder = 22/7 * r^2 * h
= 22/7 * 10*10 * 6
=1885.71 cm^3

cylinders can be made = volume of sphere / volume of cylinder
= 113142.857 /1885.71

= 60.0001

answer is ,

= 60
