QUESTION✪:-

How many solid cylinders of radius 20 cm and height 12 cm can be made by melting a solid sphere of radius 60 cm ?

GIVEN✪:-

CYLINDER:

  • radius (r) = 20cm
  • height(h) = 12cm

SPHERE:

  • radius (r)= 60cm

ANSWER✪:-

n×VOLUME OF CYLINDER = VOLUME OF SPHERE

n × \pi  {r}^{2} h \:

=  \frac{4}{3} \pi \:  {r}^{3}

n ×  \frac{22}{7}   \times 20 × 20 × 12 =  \frac{4}{3}  \times  \frac{22}{7} × 60 × 60 × 60

➥ n =  \frac{4 \times 60 \times 60 \times 60}{3 \times 20 \times 20 \times 12}

➥ n = 3× 4 ×5

➥ n = 60

60 solid cylinders can be made by melting a solid sphere
