How many solid spheres of 2/3cm radius can be made from a solid sphere of 2 cm radius

volume \: of \: big \: sphere \:  =  \frac{4}{3} \pi \: r {}^{3}


 =  \frac{4}{3}  \pi \times 2 \times 2 \times 2


Volume of 1 smaller sphere=

 =  \frac{4}{3} \pi \: r {}^{3}

 =  \frac{4}{3} \pi \times  \frac{2}{3}   \times  \frac{2}{3}  \times  \frac{2}{3}

Number of spheres

 =  \frac{volume \: of \: bigger \: sphere \: }{volume \: of \: smaller \: sphere}

 =  \frac{ \frac{4}{3} \times \pi \times 2 \times 2 \times 2 }{ \frac{4}{3} \pi \times  \frac{2}{3}  \times  \frac{2}{3}  \times  \frac{2}{3} }

 =  \frac{2 \times 2 \times 2}{ \frac{2}{3} \times  \frac{2}{3} \times  \frac{2}{3}   }

 =  \frac{8}{ \frac{8}{27} }

 = 8 \times  \frac{27}{8}

=27

So, Number of spheres that can be made =27 .
