how many solution for the linear equation 2 x- 5= 7 has

Answers

6
Only one.Becase it's a linear equation in one variable.If you want solution then,
2x-5=7
2x=7+5
2x=12
=>x=6.
Hope this helps.Please mark as brainliest.

pravin68: tell
sidhant92: what will be the mirror image of (2,-4) in y axis
pravin68: (-2,-4)
pravin68: because if we are asked to tell mirror image in x axis we change sign of y and similarly if we are asked to tell the mirror image in y axis we change sign of x axis
sidhant92: ok
pravin68: but remember that when we change sign then the sign which is not changed is kept as it is.
pravin68: Please mark my answer brainliest.
sidhant92: next question is what are the coordinates of the points (s)which lie on positive direction of X and 3 unit away from the origin
pravin68: (3,0)
pravin68: Please mark as brainliest which I answered.

2x - 5 = 7 \\ 2x = 7 + 5\\ 2x =12 \\ x = \frac{12}{2} \\ x = 6 \\ \\ hence \: there \: i s\: only \: one \: solution
Every linear equation in one variable has one solution only.

Hope it helps uhh❤
