How many solutions does the system have? y = −2x −4 y = 3x + 3 ​

y=-2x

= 2x+y=0 where, a1=2, b1=1, c1=0

-4y=3x+3

= -3x-4y=3,  where a2=-3, b2=-2, c2=3

Using system of linear equations we find,

a1/a2=b1/b2=c1/c2

-2/3=1/2=0/3... eq(1)

As, we see that eq 1 is not correct which means that this system of equation has a unique solution
