Answer:

Diameter of sphere ( D ) = 12 cm

Radius ( R ) = D/2 = 6 cm

Volume of sphere = 4/3 πR³

=> 4/3 × 22/7 × 6 × 6 × 6

=> ( 4 × 22 × 2 × 36 )/ 7

=> 6336/7 cm³

Diameter of metallic cylinder ( d ) = 8 cm

Radius ( r ) = 4 cm

Height of cylinder = 90 cm

Volume of cylinder = πR²H

=> 22/7 × 4 × 4 × 90

=> ( 22 × 16 × 90 )/7

=> 31680/7 cm³.

Number of sphere that can be made of metallic cylinder = Volume of cylinder/Volume of sphere = 31680/7 ÷ 6336 / 7

=> 5.

Answer:

vol of cylinder = x * vol of sphere

pi r^2 h = x * 4/3 pi r^3

4^2 × 90 = x * 4/3 × 6×6×6

16 × 90 = x * 4×2×6×6

16×90

---------- = x

4×2×6×6

x = 5

5 spheres can be made out of this cylinder
