thus, the volume of cube =a cube or a3

volume of cube is 12*12*12=1728cm cube

radius of sphere = 3cm

thus, the volume of sphere = 4/3pie rcube

volume of the sphere is 4/3*3*3*3= 36cm cube

as the spheres are made from the cube thus the volumes of the cube and the spheres should be equal

let the no of spheres formed be n

this, volume of cube= n* volume of sphere

n= volume of cube /volume of sphere

n= 1728/36= 48

there are 48 spheres formed from the cube of side 12cm
