will be required to cover the walls of a room
4 m by 3 m by 2 m? If 25 tiles cost 40, find the

b=3m

h=2m

area of tile = 8*8cm²

= 64 cm²

c. s. a of room = 2(l+b) *h

= 2(4m+3m) *2m

=14m*2m

= 28m²

hence,

we can write 28m² as 280000cm²

and tile required = 280000cm²/64cm² and we got 4375 tiles

as

value of one tile is 40/25 = 1.6

and cost of tiling = 4375 *1.6

= 7000
