Answer

Given:-

There are 12 panes and each measures 25cm × 16cm.

To find:-

The area of the glass required.

Formula used:-

 \pink{\fbox{Area = Length × Breadth}}

Solution:-

⟹ Area of one window pane = 400 \: cm^{2}  \: (25 \times 16)

⟹ Area of glass required = 400 \times 12

∴ Sq. metre of glass required =  \frac{4800}{100}

48m² of glass is required

Answer:

48 sq m of glass

Step-by-step explanation:

area of each glass pane =25×16=400sq cm

area of glass needed=400×12=4800sq cm

now we need to convert in metres so 4800÷100=48sq m of glass
