how many square metre of glass will be required for Windows which has 10 Pence each measuring 25cm by 16cm​

Dimensions of the each glass pane is,

Length = l = 25 cm,

Breadth = b = 16 cm

Area of the one pane = length × breadth

= 25 cm × 16 cm

Area of the 10 panes = 10 × 25cm × 16 cm

= 10 × 25 × ( 1/100 ) m × 16 × (1 /100)m

= ( 4 / 10 ) m^2

= 0.4 square meters.

Therefore ,

0.4 square meter glass required for windows.
