Answer:

area of window is 2x2

4m^2

total four squares 4x4

area =16m

cost of mesh = 25

cost of total area = 25x16

25 \times 16 \\  = 400

charge of carpenter 400x5

Answer:

Total money spent =₹480

Step-by-step explanation:

Side of square window = 2

Area of mesh required for 1 window = 2×2

                                                            = 4m^{2}

Area of mesh required for 4 windows =(Area of mesh required for 1 window)×4

                                                               = 4m^{2}×4

                                                               = 16m^{2}

Cost of total mesh = area of total mesh×cost of mesh per sq.m

                               = 16×25

                               = ₹400

Cost given to the carpenter =  area of total mesh×cost of mesh per sq.m

                                              =  16×5

                                              = ₹80

Total money spent = ₹400+₹80

                              = ₹480
