Given :

a rectangle floor measuring 25mby 10m

To Find:

How many square of side 5cm are required to cover a rectangle floor

Solution:

Length of floor = 25 m

Breadth of floor = 10 m

Area of floor = Length \times Breadth = 25 \times 10 = 250 m^2

Side of square tile = 5 cm =0.05

Area of square = Side^2 = 0.05^2 = 0.0025 m^2

No. of squares required =\frac{250}{0.0025}=100000

Hence 100000  square of side 5cm are required to cover a rectangle floor measuring 25mby 10m
