How many square slabs each with side 90cm are needed to cover a floor of area 81 sq m.

Given,

Area of Square = 81m²

As the slabs pieces in Cm then,

Area = 81 × 10000 = 810000 cm²

✔. Side of slab = 90 cm

Area of slab = 90 × 90
=8100cm²

No. of slabs required = Area of square / Area of slab

= 810000/ 8100

= 100

100 slabs is required .
