Hi ,
Dimensions of a square tile ,
Side = a = 0.6m
Dimensions of floor ,
Length ( l ) = 8 m
Breadth ( b ) = 6 m
Let the number of tiles required = n
n = area of the floor / area of each tile
n = lb / a²
n = ( 8 × 6 ) / ( 0.6 × 0.6 )
= ( 8 × 6 × 10 × 10 ) / ( 6 × 6 )
= ( 800 ) /6
= 133.3
≈ 134
Required square tiles are =n = 134
I hope this helps you.
