Length of room =20cm

Breadth of room =10cm

The HCF of 20cm and 10cm will be size of square tiles HCF of 20 and 10=10cm

Area of room = 20×10=200cm2

Answer: Answer = 3000 tiles

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of floor = 1200cm x 1000cm = 1200000sqcm

Area of 1 tile = 20cm x20cm = 400sqcm

Therfore:

No. of Tiles = 1200000/400 = 3000.
