I am considering the side of square tile in metre (m).

Area of square tile = 0.5 ×0.5

Area of floor = 3 ×4

No. of square tiles = 3×4÷0.5 × 0.5 = 48 tiles

Therefore, Cost of tiles = 25 × 48

Rs.1200

Hope it helps

Step-by-step explanation:

area of a tile .5×.5 = .25

while area of room is = 3×4= 12

so the requirement of tiles is

12/.25 = 48 tiles

cost of one tile is 25

and cost of 48 tile is = 25×48= 1200 rs
