length of rectangular room = 6.4m
= 640 cm
breadth of rectangular room = 5 m
= 500 cm
Area of rectangular room = length × breadth
= 640 × 500 cm^2
= 320,000 cm^2
Area of square tile = side^2
= 16^2
= 256 cm^2
no. of tiles = area of rectangular room / area of square tile
= 320000/256
= 1250 tiles
