how many square tiles of side 20cm are needed for a room of length 10m and breath 12m​

Answer:

Area of room = length* Breadth

= 10*12 m2

= 120 m2

Area of square titles = side*side

= 20*20 cm2 = 400 cm2

= 400/10000 m2 = 0.04 m2

no. of square titles = 120m2/0.04m2 = 3000

area of one square tile=20^2=400cm^2

area of the room=10*12=120m^2=1200000cm^2

so no.of tiles=area of room/area of one tile =1200000/400=3000
