How many square tiles of side 20cm are required to cover a floor of a room with dimension 6m and 4m

Area of square tiles is 20×20=400cm^2
Area of rectangular floor is (600×400)cm^2=240000cm^2
240000/400=600

area of squar tiles =l×l
=20cm×20cm
=400cm square
dimension of floor =6m×4m
=24m square
we know 1 m square=100 ×100 cm square
24m square=2400×2400 cm square

tiles required=2400×2400/400
=1400
