Area of the floor= length× breadth

= 8×7= 56

Are of the square tiles= side× side

= 2×2= 4m²

Number of square tiles required to cover the floor= 56/4

= 14 square tiles

Hope it helps

Answer:

area of rectangle = L*B

where L is length

B is breath

area of floor = 8 * 7 = 56 m^2

area of square = a^2

where a is side of square

so

area of one tile = 2^2 = 4 m^2

so

number of tiles required = 56/4=14 tiles
