20 stamps can fit in the sheet paper.

  • Size of the stamp is 5 cm × 3cm.
  • Now size of the sheet is 20 cm × 15 cm.
  • We have to find the number of  stamps that can fit in the sheet paper.
  • Area of the stamp = length × breadth = 5 × 3 =15 cm².
  • Area of sheet paper = Length × breadth = 20 × 15 = 300 cm².
  • Now, number of stamps that can be made from the sheet paper =

\frac{Area \ of \ sheet \ paper}{Area \ of \ Stamp}

= \frac{300}{15} = 20.
