Glucose breakdown into pyruvate and pyruvate in the presence of lack of oxygen in muscle cells it forms lactic acid and energy.

6 carbon molecule broke down into pyurate (3 carbon molecule) than its is combine with lack of oxygen then lactic acid and energy is formed and this take place in muscle cell
