How many straight line can be drawn from 15 non collinear points?

The answer is 105

Explanation:

Since here we have to chose/ select the points from which we have to draw lines, we have to use concept of combinations.

We know that a line needs two points (i.e) the starting point and the ending point.

Therefore according to combinations, the formula is nCr.

We have to select 2 points from 15 non-collinear points to draw a straight line. ( Remember that collinear points is conditional )

Hence, the answer is 15C2 = (15)(14)/(1)(2)

= 105
