The number of students appearing for AIL LET is a little unpredictable. But still on a rough estimate, take them to be around 3000–4000 students competing for 80 seats from all over the India.
In the year 2017 the number of students who registered for AIL LET was around 3000, owing to the late notification from the Punjab government. Half of the student population had already taken up admission somewhere else (after all, who knows if he would even come in the merit list or not!)
The seats in Army Institute of Law, Mohali have been divided on the basis of categories.
Army category: 60 seats
All India Civil category: 4 seats
Pujab Category: 16 seats
One thing I must tell you that the merit list of AIL Legal Entrance Test has gone significantly higher over the past few years.
So if you want to take admission in AIL, pull up your socks and work hard!!!
