In Indian classical music, There are Seven Swaras.

The Seven Swaras or Svaras of Indian classical music are:-

SA, RE, GA, MA, PA, DHA, NI.

1) Shadaja (SA) - The sounds of the peacock when rain clouds gathered in the sky.

2) Rishaba (RI) - The screaming of a cow when her calf is get separated from her.

3) Gandhara (GA) - The sound of a goat in a flock.

4) Madhyama (MA) - The cry of heron.

5) Panchama (PA) - The sound of the kokila in the spring season.

6) Dhaivata (DHA) - The sound of a horse. (neighing)

7) Nishada (NI) - The sound of an elephant (trumpeting).
