Given :-  \frac{1}{2}  \: and \:  \frac{6}{7}

To Find :- Equivalent fractions of  \frac{1}{2}  \: and \:  \frac{6}{7}

using the common denominator.

Solution :-

 \frac{1}{2}  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times  \frac{7}{7}  =  \frac{7}{14}

 \frac{6}{7}  =  \frac{6}{7}  \times  \frac{2}{2}  =  \frac{12}{14}

Hence, the Equivalent fractions are  \frac{7}{14}  \: and \:  \frac{12}{14} .

 \frac{1}{2}  = 7/14

 \frac{6}{7}  = 12/14

Hence, the final answer is

Equivalent fractions are  \frac{7}{14}  \: and \:  \frac{12}{14} .

 \frac{1}{2}  = 7/14

 \frac{6}{7}  = 12/14
