The sum of terms in a Geometric Progression can be easily calculated

To find the sum of terms in a geometric progression, it can be easily done by using the formula - Sn = {a1 (1 - r to the power 'n')} / (1 - r) where r is not equal to 1.

For finding the nth partial sum of a geometric sequence in which Sn is the sum of GP with 'n' number of terms, 'a1' is the first term, 'r' is the common ratio and n is the number of terms.

One can easily find the answer using this equation.
