ANSWER:

Let 2 + 6 + 18 +……n terms = 728

This is a GP. First term a=2. Common ratio r=3

So. Sum of n terms = 728

a(r^n - 1)/(r-1) = 728

2(3^n-1)/(3–1) = 728

ie. 3^n - 1 = 728 => 3^n = 729

=> 3^n = 3^6 =>. n = 6

No. of terms to be taken = 6.
