ANSWER

There are 128 three - digit numbers that are completely divisible by 7

Those numbers are :

105 , 112 ,119 .............................. 994

HOW DID WE GET IT ?

The process would be very long to figure all numbers out , so we would use Arithmetic progression formula,

That is An = a + (n-1)d

here An is the last term

n is the number of terms, which we have to find.

a is the first term

d is the common difference

So, putting the values in the formula,

994 = 105 + (n-1) 7

994 - 105 = (n-1) 7

889 =  (n-1) 7

889/7 = n-1

127 = n-1

n = 28

THEREFORE, THERE ARE 128 THREE DIGIT NUMBERS THAT ARE DIVISIBLE BY 7.
