highest 3 digit no = 957 (87 × 11)
a= 174 , d = 87 and last term 957
Using last term formula
957 = 174+ ( n -1)×87
957= 174 + 87n - 87
957= 87 + 87n
957-87 = 87n
870 = 87n
n = 10
Hence , 10 three digit nos. are divisible by 87 .
