Answer:

DIMENSIONS OF FLOOR

length = 18m = 180dm (as 1m=10 dm)

breadth = 6m = 60dm

area of floor = area of rectangle = L x B - 180dm x 60dm = 10800 sq. m = 1080 =

sq. m

DIMENSIONS OF TILES

length = 6dm

breadth = 3dm

area of tiles = are of rectangle = L x B = 6dm * 3dm = 18 sq. dm

tiles required to cover the floor = area of floor/area of tile

= 1080/18

=

60tiles

Answer:

600 tiles required

Step-by-step explanation:

see the steps to understand

To find number of tiles=Area of floor/ area of tiles

since here tiles unit is dm so change floor unit to dm by multiplying 10 ,since I changed l& b of floor unit together so multiplied 100, next see the math done
