How many tiles of length 10cm and breadth 6cm respectively will be required to fit in a rectangular floor whose length and breadth are 4cn and 300cm, respectively​

Answer:

Area of floor = 4×3 = 12 sqm

Tile each side is 20 cm = 0.20m

Area of tiles is 0.20×0.20 =0.04 sqm

No of tiles = 12/0.04 = 300 nos

hey mate!

length of tile = 10cm

breadth of tile = 6cm

area = l ×b = 10×6 = 60 cm²

length of floor = 4cm

breadth of floor = 300cm

area of floor = l × b = 4 × 300 = 1200cm²

no of tiles required = 1200/60 = 20 tiles
