area of the tile = side²
= 0.1 × 0.1
= 0.1m²
given Length of the surface = 4m
breadth of the surface = 2.5m
area of the surface = l × b
= 4 × 2.5
= 10m²
no. of tiles required to cover the surface = 10/0.1
= 100
hence, 100 tiles are required
