It is given that

Length of each tile= 13 cm

Breadth= 7 cm

Area of a tile= Length×Breadth

= 13×7

= 91 cm²

Now, area of the rectangular region:

= 520×140

= 72800 cm²

Therefore, Number of tiles= Area of the rectangular region÷Area of one tile

= 72800÷91

= 800 tiles

Answer=> 800 tiles

\bold\green{Explanation}

According to the question we have :-

→ Length of tile = 13cm

→ Breadth of tile = 7 cm

→ Rectangular Region = 520 × 140

Simply , by using formula of area of rec. we can find it ,

\tt\green{Area\:of\: rectangle=length\times breadth}

Now, according to the question by substituting the known values in formula we get :-

→ Length of tile = 13cm

→ Breadth of tile = 7 cm

\begin{lgathered}\tt = Area\:of\:tiles=13\times 7\\ \\ \tt\green = Area=91cm\end{lgathered}

Hence , the Area of region is :-

\begin{lgathered}\tt = Area\:of\:plot=530\times 140\\ \\ \tt\green= Area\:of\:plot=72800cm{}^{2}\end{lgathered}

\sf\orange{\:\: Required\:Tiles=\dfrac{Area\:of\:plot}{Area\:of\:tiles}}

\begin{lgathered}\tt = No.\:of\: tiles=\cancel{\dfrac{72800}{91}}\\ \\ \tt\green = No. \:of \: Tiles\: =800\end{lgathered}

Hence , the required tiles is 800
