Length of the rectangular region = 520cm.
Breadth of the rectangular region = 140cm.
Now
Length and breadth of each tile =13cm&7cm.
Therefore number of tiles required =
Area of the region / area of each tile.
=520x140/13x7=40x20=800.
Therefore total tiles required =800

tile = l^b
= 13^7= 91 cm sq
rectangular region = l^b
=520^140= 82800 cm sq
no. of tiles = rectangular region ÷ tiles
82800÷91= 800
