Answer: The circumference of a wheel of 28 cm radius = 2(pi)r = 2*22*28/7 = 176 cm or 1.76 m. So in order to cover a distance of 352 m the wheel has to rotate 352/1.76 = 200 times.

According to the question:

  • As per given in the question,Radius of wheel is 28cm and it must rotate to go 352m if (pi = 22/7).We are said to find how many times it will rotate.

Given:

  • Radius = 28cm
  • Distance covered = 352m

To Find:

  • time taken to complete 352m = ?
  • Circumference of the circle = ?

Therefore,

Using Formula:

 \:  \:  \sf \: circumference \: of \: the \: circle = 2 \pi \: r

Now substitute the values

 \:  \:  \sf \: circumference = 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 28 = 176cm \:

Now we have to convert cm into m

As we know,

1m = 100 cm

176cm = 176/100 = 1.76m

 \:  \:  \sf  \therefore\:to \: cover \: a \:  distance \:of \: 352m \: the \: wheel \: has \: to \: rotate \:  =  \frac{352}{1.76}  \\  \\  \:  \:  \sf \:  = 200 \: times

Hence, they will cover a distance of 352m in 200 times rotation.
