How many times alternative current change it's direction in one second in India

The AC produced in India has a frequency of 50Hz.Coil is rotated at the rate of 50 revolutions per second. Since in one revolution of coil, the current reverses its direction 2 times , So in 50 revolutions of coil the current reverses its direction 2 x 50 = 100 Times
