ANSWER : 246 plants

EXPLANATION :

Given:

  • Distance between two trees = 4 meter
  • Length of plot = 300 meter
  • Breadth of plot = 200 meter

⇨On the both length we can plant = \frac{300}{4}×2

\boxed{ = 150 \:plants}

⇨similarly,

⇨On the both breadth we can plant=\frac{200}{4}×2

\boxed{ = 100 \:plants}

\bold\green{Total\:plants}

⇨100+150

⇨250

___________________________________________

We have to subtract 4 from the sum because we counted the corner trees in both direction.

___________________________________________

∴Total trees that can be planted

⇨250-4

⇨246 plants
