in regular Pentagon :-
there are 5 vertices and 5 edge in regular Pentagon . so, if we meet a line from centre to vertices we see five equilateral triangle form. hence, in regular Pentagon there are 5 traingles.

regular hexagon : there are 6 vertices and 6 edge in regular hexagon . after meeting Central point to vertices of hexagon we get , 6 equilateral triangle form .
