The forms of constitution include;
(i) Flexible Constitution: In this form of constitution, the constitution can easily be amended.e.g: England. New changes can be brought with easy proposals.
(ii) Inflexible Constitution: In this form of constitution, the constitution cannot be easily amended e.g: United States. New changes have to be approved by different authorities.
(iii) Monarchical Constitution: In this form of constitution, the power of the government is in the hands of the monarchs, while there is a democracy. The constitution is approved by the Royal Head of State.
(iv) Republican Constitution: In this form of constitution, the power of the government lies in the hands of the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister is elected through mass election.
(v) Presidential Constitution: In this form of constitution, the power of the government lies in the hands of the President. The decisions are made by the President and the constitution is approved by the President.
(vi) Parliamentary Constitution: In this form of constitution, the power of the government lies in the hands of the Prime Minister, who is elected by the people and answerable to the Parliament, The Upper and Lower House.
(vii) Federal Constitution: In this form of constitution, the power is divided in small groups.
(viii) Unitary Constitution: In this form of constitution, the power is in the hands of a central government.
(ix) Political Constitution: In this form of constitution, the government is formed by the political party who is politically strong.
