There are mainly 6 types of Asexual reproduction.
Namely : Fission, Regeneration, Budding, Spore Formation, Fragmentation, Vegetative Propagation.
✦
Fission is of two types Binary fission, Multiple Fission
=> Many bacteria and protozoa split into two equal halves during cell division in organisms such as Amoeba the splitting of the two cells during division can take place in any plane.
=> Single celled organisms such as malarial parasite, plasmodium divide into many daughter cells by multiple fission.
✦
In multicellular organisms with relatively simple body organisation you simple reproductive methods. Spirogyra, for example, simply breaks up into smaller pieces upon maturation these pieces of fragments grow into new individuals.
✦
Simple animals like Hydra and planaria can be cut into a number of pieces and each piece grows into a complete organism. This is known as regeneration. It is carried out by specialised cells. These cells proliferate and make large number of cells from this mass of cells different cells undergo changes to become various cell type and tissues.
✦
In hydra, a bud develops as an outgrowth due to repeated cell division at one specific point. These buds develop into tiny individuals and when fully mature detach itself from the plant body and become new independent individuals.
✦
Vegetative propagation means use of parts like the roots, stems and leaves develop into new plants and the appropriate conditions. This property of vegetative propagation is used in metals such as layering cutting grafting to grow many plants like sugarcane, roses, grapes for agricultural purposes. For example, in the bryophyllum leaf, buds produced in the notches along the leaf margin fall on the soil and develop into new plants.
✦
The thread like structures that develop on the bread are the hyphae of the bread mould (Rhizopus). The tiny blob - on- a-stick which contains cells or spores. These spores are covered by thick walls that protect them until they come into contact with another moist surface and then can begin to grow into new Rhizopus individuals.

There are several different methods of asexual reproduction. They include binary fission, fragmentation, and budding. Binary fission occurs when a parent cell splits into two identical daughter cells of the same size.
