Answer:

There are mainly two types of banks...

1. Public sector banks e.g. SBI , PNB

2. Private sector banks

e.g. AXIS , ICICICI , HDFC...

Currently there are 12 public sector banks in India after recent mergence of 10 banks in 4 .....
